The Books Have Arrived!
I am currently holding in my sweaty, quivering hands my author copies of The Mother (due out in August from www.lothian.com.au). It's an exciting time - my first mass-market paperback! Yes, I can now truly call myself a 'paperback writer' :-)

Ahh, the long awaited follow up the TLM; very much looking forward to reading it. Wonderful to see a Victorian writer writing about Victoria. If I only read one horror book this year (and I will), it should be "the mother!" Tell me, does Madge make a guest appearance?
I could've had Madge make a surprise appearance - and it sure would've been a surprise! (she sure would've smelled bad and maybe had a hankering for some tasty brains...). Now there's an idea for a sequel to TLM ;-)
But if The Last Motel had a sequel, it wouldn't really be the LAST motel now would it?
Smells a bit like John Farnham's farewell tour...
I'll call it 'Definitely the Last Motel'; or 'I Really Should've Called the Previous Book
"The Penultimate Motel"'. :-)
